Saturday 10th March
Regulars BoneAlone, BoneIdle & BoneLately arrive with BfG and BoneFriday, together with newcomer Ron Low for his first visit to the Bahamas...

Saturday 10th: BoneIdle & BoneLately find a school of bones within hours of getting off the plane... ...16 bones on their 1st day - a great start to their week! Sunday 11th: Ron with his 1st Bahamas bone, and soon catches his 2nd. Monday 12th: a big fish successfully stalked by BoneAlone (on his own) Tuesday 13th: a pretty boxfish falls for BoneAlone... ... followed by a good bone off the beach Wednesday 14th: BoneIdle & BoneLately enjoy a fishless day Thursday 15th: BoneAlone on a remote southern flat... ...a nice fish (with very little help from his friends!) Friday 16th (BoneLately's birthday): BoneIdle hooks a good single... ... expertly played... ... and landed... then a change of venue... ...and BoneLately hooks his 4th of the day... ...a great way to spend their last day, then back to the Inn for birthday celebrations... ...left to right: Twana, BfG (underneath Twana), BoneAlone, BoneFriday, BoneIdle, BoneLately, Ron.

Saturday 17th March
BoneIdle & BoneLately depart and Marcus & Carina arrive for their first attempt at bonefishing...

Saturday 17th: Marcus & Carina arrive to rough weather... ...but it's not long before Carina hooks up... ...an excellent 1st attempt (beginner's luck, pheromones or skill?)... ...then hubby hooks one but loses it (wrong pheromones?)... ...meanwhile BoneAlone is at it again... Sunday 18th: ...and again! ...and Ron releases a nice one Monday 19th: Marcus hooks a bone on Briland under difficult conditions (but loses it)... ...meanwhile BfG connects with a nice one down south (and lands it). Tuesday 20th: This Grouper eat BoneAlone's Gotcha, but only BfG gets a bone. Wednesday 21st: BoneAlone lands his 1st fish of the day from the beach... ...safely released, then moves on and catches another 5! Thursday 22nd: Fishing with BfG, BoneAlone hooks a bone at Savannah - one of the hardest venues... ...and lands it after a terrific fight... ...one of only 3 fish caught that day... ...then off to the Bonemobile for a well deserved beer, then back to the Inn... Front: Ron, BoneAlone, BoneFriday, BfG, Marcus, Carina. Back, our hostesses: Donna, Twana, Rochelle. Friday 23rd: last night at the Inn, BfG receives his award. Saturday 24th: Lunch at Tippy's before the flight back to Nassau. ...but Marcus & Carina decide to stay on for 2 more days to chill out... ...and catch a few more bones!

For those who are interested in statistics:

BoneAlone landed the heaviest bonefish (5½lb)
BoneLately caught the most bones in one day (11), and the most in a week (27), and the most overall!
Total bonefish caught: 86 in the 1st week, 32 in 2nd week
Grand total: 118 bonefish, including 16 of 3lb or over, all caught on fly, and once again nobody blanked!
