This winter, BfG accompanied Pete Kelly, Ronnie Perez, Peter & Pat Rostant, Paul Kenrick & Julia Nash on week 1, then BfC arrived with John & Sandra Edwards, Peter "Doc"* & Carol "Camel"* Goodwin, Clive & Colin Finnis and Richard Hardy for weeks 2 and 3. Ronnie, Julia and "Camel" didn't fish but enjoyed the sun, sand, swimming & snorkelling by day and The Inn's excellent food together with Charlie's Goombay Smashes and other exotic cocktails in the evenings. (* With 3 Peters and 2 Carols it became necessary to use nicknames!)
That left 5 of us fishing the first week and 8 fishing the other two weeks.
In spite of unusually persistant easterly winds which made the fishing more difficult than usual, everyone caught their fair share of bonefish. BfC caught (flooked?) an 8½lb specimen on her first day (OK - you can't flook a fish like that, particularly when fishing in mangrove but then BfG did teach her [almost] everything she knows!)

At the end of the first week, BfG had caught 14, Peter Rostant 5, Pat 1, Pete Kelly 10 (plus a good snapper) and Paul 17. A total 47 bonefish to 4¼lb. Everyone enjoyed the warm weather, friendly atmosphere and excellent food and wished that they could stay for another week!

The Doc into a bone (& Richard acting as un-paid guide)
Under 3lb but very exciting (of course a good guide would have picked out a bigger fish!)

During the second and third weeks, Clive caught 8, Colin & Richard 9 each, The Doc 7, John 12 and Sandra 1 (she was champion sunbather). BfC caught only 6 but was concentrating on keeping her average up by selectively casting to trophy fish! BfG finished up with a total of 26 over the three weeks making a grand total of 111 bonefish, plus various assorted snappers, grouper, pompano, barracuda, houndfish and Jacks, all caught on fly.
